Knives to meet you
Anyway, I was recently at a sushi workshop hosted by the lovely (and very Japanese) Yuki Gomi. Her kitchen’s in Crystal Palace, which is great because Crystal Palace is the shit. During said workshop I created various abominations made out of sushi ingredients, which were very delicious. Presentation was never my strong point…
But I digress, said event was sponsored by Kai Knives and I convinced the very nice PR people to let me do a knife giveaway.
Lately I’ve developed a kind of OCD fixation around running competitions on Tasting Britain, and everybody loves super premium Japanese metalwork, right?
About the knife
We’re giving away a Kai Shun Utility Knife 6” (DM-0701) (which has an RRP £99.00)
I have one myself and use it to attack vegetables.
A bit of sales blurb for you to explain how it works: Made from damask steel with 32 layers and a core layer of V-Gold-10 steel, the blade delivers unrivalled sharpness and precision due to the extremely hard and corrosion-resistant properties of this steel and the reduction of friction between the blade and ingredients.
What do I have to do?
Just answer the below question correctly, and you’re in with a chance of winning.
Let’s get going then…
This competition is now closed, thanks for entering!
The fine people at Kai Knives aren’t really too keen on ‘social media’ (…I know, right?) Buuut you can check out their range at http://www.kai-europe.com/home.php?lang=en
